Knowledge Risk Detection for Engineering, Ops & Finance Teams

RetainIQ quantifies knowledge concentration risk with a 0–100 Fragility Score and triggers AI-driven interventions before key people leave. No documentation effort required.

How RetainIQ Protects Your Organization

0–100 Fragility Score

Every knowledge area — a codebase module, a vendor relationship, a compliance process — gets a quantified risk score. Score 76+ is critical: single-expert dependency with high turnover signal. Score below 25 means knowledge is safely distributed.

AI-Driven Interventions

When fragility crosses thresholds, RetainIQ automatically generates targeted actions — knowledge transfer sessions, pair-programming assignments, documentation sprints, cross-training plans — tailored to your team's signals and risk profile.

No Documentation Required

RetainIQ infers knowledge ownership from meeting transcripts, Slack messages, Jira tickets, and code commits. No wikis to maintain, no forms to fill. Knowledge maps update continuously as workplace signals flow in.

How It Works

  1. Connect your signals — Upload meeting transcripts, Slack exports, Jira data, or GitHub activity. No new integrations required on day one.
  2. AI maps knowledge ownership — Amazon Bedrock analyzes signals to score each topic by fragility, identifying single points of failure before they become crises.
  3. Receive targeted interventions — Automated recommendations: who to pair, what to document, when to act, prioritized by urgency and business impact.
  4. Track fragility over time — Score trends show whether knowledge risk is growing or shrinking across your team week-over-week.

How We Handle Your Data

What we ingest

Meeting transcripts, Slack exports, Jira tickets, and code activity (commits and pull requests). All connections are read-only with minimal OAuth scopes.

What we store

Raw signal content is processed in memory and never persisted. Only derived insights — fragility scores, topic ownership maps, intervention records — are stored, encrypted with AES-256.

Retention

Insights are retained for 12 months by default, configurable up to 7 years on Enterprise. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days.

AI processing

Analysis runs on Amazon Bedrock inside AWS. Your data never leaves the AWS environment and is never used to train AI models.
